Monday: 9.00am – 5.30 pm
Tuesday to Friday: 9.00am – 5.00 pm
Saturday: 9.00am – 12.30 pm.

Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Emergencies will always be given priority. Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our receptionist if you require some extra time or have several problems to discuss.

If you require an interpreter service (a language other than English or services for hearing impaired patients) this can also be organised -  please advise us at the time of booking.

Practice Consultation Fees

The Centre Clinic is currently a fully bulk billing clinic for Medicare cardholders only. This means that we bill Medicare directly for services provided to patients. There is currently no cost to patients for this service. There are charges, however, for some vaccinations. Your doctor will make you aware of any charges before treatment is offered.

Phone calls

If you wish to discuss a matter by phone with your doctor, our reception staff will either refer your call directly to your doctor or will record a brief written message to be forwarded to your doctor. Your doctor will prioritise these messages and return your call as soon as possible.

Follow up of results

The Centre Clinic has a policy and procedure in place for the timely review and reporting of all pathology results. Our preference is that you see your GP for results rather than by telephone. We never give HIV results by phone.

After Hours

If you have an urgent medical problem please call our locum service, Australian Locum Medical Service on  132260. Please mention that you are a patient of The Centre Clinic and the name of your doctor. There may be a charge for this service.


Home Visits

Home visits are available only by arrangement directly with your treating doctor and are at his/her discretion.

The Centre Clinic has a protocol indicating under what circumstances a home visit may take place. This protocol is strictly adhered to. Please ask your doctor if you require further details.
